DESCRIPTION:One of the most healing and valuable aspects of mediumship is the compelling evidence that comes through from the spirit world via a medium and is then shared with the recipient. As both a medium and a teacher\, I believe this is one of the most important things for people to understand\, especially when supporting those who are experiencing grief and loss. \nKerry-Marie will begin by briefly sharing her own journey\, from her early childhood experiences through to being introduced to mediumship\, training at the Arthur Findlay College\, qualifying through the SNU\, and later being featured on TVNZ’s Sensing Murder series in 2018. \nShe will then discuss some of the experiences that not only turned her into a believer but gave her a deep knowing that the spirit world is real. Also hear information about the workshops that will be happening during the weekend and book your space for those that you are interested in attending. Cost $10 on entry \n Saturday 27 June \n9 – 11am \nPendulum Dowsing with Anne \nWe are connected to all things and not as separate as we appear. A pendulum can help you access intuitive knowledge you didn’t know you had and knowledge you have hidden at a subconscious level (like where you left your car keys!). Your opportunity to train your pendulum and get it talking to you. Some discussion but a largely practical session\, with lots of different fun exercises. Please bring a pendulum if you already have one \nOR \nPublic Speaking/Church Addresses with the help of Spirit with Barbara \nA practical workshop to help you to channel spirit and allow them to give information to others. You may get a sense of its history\, or information about its owner. This works best with objects that one person has used over time\, such as a piece of jewelry\, a watch or a special charm etc \nCome and join others\, in a safe hands-on environment where we will be learning\, then practicing the way psychometry can work. You may be surprised at how well you connect with Spirit. \nPlease bring a pen\, paper and most importantly a small item from which we can practice reading from. Make sure the item you bring is yours\, or you know about its history. That way you can confirm (or not) the information given is accurate. \nSunday – 28 June \n9.30 – 11.30am \nThe Guides Circle of Learning with Sue \nThis workshop is an opportunity to try out your spiritual gifts with guided visualisations\, spiritual exercises\, working in pairs and being in a group energy.  We all have spiritual abilities\, this session will allow you to try out clairvoyance\, clairsentience\, and just knowing.  After the guide will come through to answer any questions you may have about your journey\, problems connecting and other spiritual issues.  For all levels of development. \nOR \nYour Soul and Earth’s Energies with Barbara \nLearn how to connect with the energy of your soul and the energies on our earth plane. Both are connections you already have but perhaps you haven’t got a conscious awareness of what they are and what they mean. Learn about the gold energy of joy that is being given freely to all on the earth plane so that we can raise our vibration and learn to live in peace and love. \nLearn about – \n\nhow energy connects us to all that is\nhow we can use it to help us to move through our lives with ease and grace\nand how it helps us strengthen our connection to spirit energy.\n\n12.30– 2.30pm \nOpen Circle with Barbara and Sue \nAn opportunity to experience sitting in a spiritual circle\, enjoying a meditation\, communicating with your guides and developing a stronger connection with the spirit realm. This circle is open to anyone whether you have sat in development circles before or not. \nOR \nPast Lives with Anne \nWe’ll briefly discuss what evidence there is for having multiple lives before going into a past life meditation. On our return to the present\, we will discuss what we found and how it might be affecting our current lives. Suitable for people that are comfortable in long meditations. \nMeet the Mediums who will be presenting this week: \nAmiee Stott – Amiee has been involved in Spiritualism for over 10 years\, working on platform across the Wellington region and serving as a committee member of the Upper Hutt Spiritual Centre. She is currently studying with the Spiritualist National Union in the UK to deepen her knowledge and refine her mediumship practice. \nHer journey began with cards\, though at first she doubted she had any abilities. That changed one night when she turned over a card and information flowed in like never before—a moment that opened the bridge into Spiritualism and set her on a path she’s followed ever since. Cards remain her greatest passion\, and she loves sharing them with others\, and encouraging others to explore their own intuitive gifts. \nAnne Roughton – Anne’s spiritual journey became serious around 26 years ago when Spirit kept her awake knocking on the walls at night. They stopped bothering her when she joined a spiritual development class. She only ever intended to be a healer but Spirit had other ideas. She is a practising platform medium and Registered Spiritual Healer. She has led spiritual development classes but now leads only Spiritual Healing classes and spiritual workshops – and she is still learning herself. She is on both the Upper Hutt Spiritualist Centre and Spiritualism NZ committees. She is passionate about empowering people to help and heal themselves. \nBarbara Hand – Barbara didn’t connect with spirit until she was in her 40’s but always knew there was something more to life than what she was experiencing. She joined the Petone Spiritualist Church and developed her skills by attending circles and workshops. She has been a part of the National Body for Spiritualism in New Zealand since 2005. For the past 25 years she has\, as a practising medium\, run church services\, workshops\, circles\, spiritual retreats and spiritual fairs as well as helping people through private readings. She enjoys working with spirit in many different ways and has a huge trust in them\, allowing her to channel them and include their teachings in her everyday life. \nCarolyn Choros – Carolyn has been interested in all things spiritual for over 40 years but only started working on her own spiritual development 12 years ago. Sitting in development circles\, attending workshops\, reading and talking with likeminded people\, she is now at the stage where she has worked on platform in the Wellington region a few times. She runs her own circle and enjoys working with people\, sharing her knowledge\, particularly in the area of psychometry. \nSue Boyle – Sue has worked with Spirit for over 40 years as a channel for their wisdom words\, healing and performing house cleansings and blessings.  She moved to Upper Hutt and joined the spiritualist church\, meeting like-minded people.  She is now their Secretary\, works on platform and as a reader and healer for the Oasis Healing Centre.  The idea of bringing people together to support and empower them motivates her to be part of SNZ.
